Hey, I’m Jenny!
I’m a 26-year-old Irish yoga instructor, traveller, musician, writer and Irish-language enthusiast who believes that everyone possesses the ability, energy and potential to lead a fulfilled and creatively satisfying life.
As well as travel, I maintain a particular interest in mental health and the benefits of yoga and meditation to help those who suffer overcome their fears and redirect their energy towards manifesting a more positive life.
Extensive solo-travel has taught me a lot about myself and the practice of yoga throughout the world, and Upward Facing Blog documents my journey, progress and discoveries. With some posts more focused on travel, some on yoga, I aim to share some of what I learn – unless otherwise stated, all opinions and experiences are my own.
I truly thrive on helping people realise the value of their own contribution and authentic selves to the colourful tapestry of life that we like to call the world, having travelled and taught in various locations in Asia over the last 2 years (Cambodia, India, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Bali, Singapore) and completing 200hr Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin YTTs with both Zuna Yoga in Ubud, Bali and The Practice in Canggu.
I hope to continue my exploration, growth, and learning about the ancient practices and never ending benefits of yoga through my classes as Manifest Yoga, and also through my writings and further travels.
Soon to be resident teacher at Sunshine Stories Retreats in Ahangama, Sri Lanka.
Keep up with the latest here on Upward Facing Blog!
